About Me

Comments:

Extremely difficult to figure out how to use, and this is coming from a gadget guy. Doesnt have a charger. Very hard to pop in/out of the mount. Didn't have the right size hex wrench for the Speed Trap sensor (need a really small one...they should've included). Lousy product that I returned.

    Comments:

I'm already using a Garm fr60 and Sony Ericsson phone with ant+ but was looking for something on my steering wheel for easy reading while my phone takes gps info without using it's screen so it doesn't depleeds battery. So far it's just what I needed.

    Comments:

Unreliable, buttons don't always work and the read-out is often inaccurate. Trek will need to recall all of these and the Node 2.1 (I tried them both). Funny my Node 1.0 worked great for about 2 years.

    Complicated to use

    About Me Avid Cyclist

    Pros

    • Looks good
    • Easy to read

    Cons

    • Getting it started
    • Restarting

    Best Uses

    • Works with Garmin sensor

    Comments:

Takes up to a minute to load, and wheel must be spinning so it can locate the sensor. After a cafe stop you need to spin the wheel again to have it restart, and this makes you look like a fool, plus I just want ride, Cateyes start up immediatly. It also sometimes shuts down for no apparent reason, and you have to repeat the start up proceedure. I would not buy another, I purchased it because it works from my Garmin sensor, but would rather settle for a wired Cateye than go through the hassel of getting this to start up on each ride.
